Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya,dumra is comprised of 4 well - equipped Houses in the form of dormatries for students (Boys & Girls) inhabitant. These various Houses are as under:
- Nilgiri House
- Shivalik House
- Aravali House
- Udaygiri House
Besides it, for Girls it is allocated as girl Jr.and Girls Sr. Houses under the seprate dormitories, Although the girls Houses are also categorised as mentioned above in 4 Houses. On the basis of these Houses all Co-curricular activities and sports activities are conducted in the school for both boys and girls. A blief summary of these Houses is as under.
1. Nilgiri House: - Colour for Nilgiri Houses Jr. and Sr. Houses is green. For Jr. from class VI - VIII and Sr. from class IX - XII are residing under the assigned dormitories.
2. Shivalik House: - This House is also divided into two groups as Jr. and Sr..In the same way from class VI - VIII Is for Jr. students and from c;ass IX - XII is furnished for Sr. Students. It's flag colour is red.
3. Aravali House: - This House is also divided into two groups as Jr. and Sr..In the same way from class VI - VIII Is for Jr. students and from c;ass IX - XII is furnished for Sr. Students. It's flag colour is Blue.
4. Udaygiri House : - Jr. and Sr. Houses. It is also grouped in to two House as Jr. and Sr. In the Jr. the students from class VI - VIII are dwelling in the allocated dormitories and class IX - XIII as Sr.House students are residing in separate dormitories.
